Day 1: Arrival in Middelfart You will arrive in Middelfart and, if you have time, visit the Clay Ceramics Museum by the Little Belt or try bridge-walking on the old Little Belt Bridge. Day 2: Middelfart – Vejle (approx. 48 km) You will cross the old Little Belt Bridge to Jutland, stop in Fredericia to see the historic fortifications, and continue on National Cycle Route No. 5 to Vejle by Vejle Fjord. Day 3: Vejle – Horsens (approx. 38 km) You will ride along Vejle Fjord, pass “Bølgen”, and may swim at Tirsbæk Beach. You will then follow regional route 53, pass Boller Castle, and reach Horsens at Horsens Fjord. Day 4: Horsens (optional excursion, approx. 52 km) You will visit “Fængslet” (Europe’s largest prison museum) and the Industrial Museum, or cycle around Horsens Fjord with a bike ferry via Hjarnø to Alrø. Day 5: Horsens – Vejle (approx. 49 km) You will reach Jelling, see the Jelling Stone, and visit Denmark’s National Museum’s Viking exhibition in Jelling, before returning to Vejle. Day 6: Vejle – Kolding (approx. 56 km) You will ride the Bindeballe Trail through the Vejle River Valley, stop at Ravning Station (museum), pause at Bindeballe Købmandsgård, see the Egtved Girl’s Grave, and arrive in Kolding. Day 7: Kolding – Middelfart (approx. 30 km) You will visit Koldinghus (Royal Collection), pass Skærbæk by Kolding Fjord, cross the old Little Belt Bridge again, and ride through Hindsgavl Deer Park before reaching Middelfart. Day 8: Departure You will depart, or extend your stay with a few days in Odense or Copenhagen.
