If you choose to proceed with your booking on Life On a Bike, here is what you can expect once the deposit (typically 25% of the total price) is paid:
- Availability Verification: After your payment is securely processed via Stripe, we immediately coordinate with the local Tour Operator to verify availability for your selected dates and services.
- Booking Confirmation: You will receive an official confirmation email from us as soon as the Tour Operator confirms all services. In the unlikely event that the tour is unavailable, we will offer you an alternative or provide a full refund of your deposit within 7 days.
- Participant Details: We will then ask you to provide necessary information to finalize your trip, such as full names, room preferences, and bicycle specifications (height/type) for rentals.
- Balance & Travel Documents: The remaining balance (70%) will be automatically charged to your card 30 days before departure. Once the balance is settled, you will receive your final travel documents, including the hotel list, GPX tracks, and local support contacts.
Please note that Life On a Bike acts as a professional intermediary and payment collection agent. Your travel contract is directly with the selected Tour Operator, who is responsible for the organization and execution of your tour.

- Parking: We recommend parking at the railway station or at the airport.
- Transfer: On Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, a return transfer by shuttle bus from Grado to Salzburg is available at €225.00 per person + €55.00 for your own bike. This must be booked and paid at the time of booking. Minimum 2 people.
